Hey guys, so since I'm a fairly new player (still in DV), I'm not really sure how to efficiently train two talented trainees. I was thinking of doing alternating one position training for each but I'm not sure if its the best way. One of them is a shooting guard at the moment, and the other is a power forward. This upcoming week, I'm thinking about doing 1 on 1 forwards and see how the results shape.
[I do realize they have low game shape atm, I kinda screwed up the rotation last week]
Player 1: Shooting Guard
Age: 19
Height: 6'0" / 183 cm
Potential: allstar
Game Shape: average
Jump Shot: strong Jump Range: respectable
Outside Def.: strong Handling: average
Driving: respectable Passing: strong
Inside Shot: average Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: inept Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: strong Free Throw: proficient

Player 2: Power Forward
Age: 19
Height: 6'11" / 211 cm
Potential: perennial allstar
Game Shape: mediocre
Jump Shot: respectable Jump Range: average
Outside Def.: awful Handling: mediocre
Driving: atrocious Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: inept Inside Def.: proficient
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: strong
Stamina: respectable Free Throw: strong

I realize that despite their potentials, that they could be the future of my team. Something I really don't want to do is sell one but I will do it if its the best choice. So if you guys forgot the question already, I was just wondering what the best way to train two different trainees are considering that they are extremely different in skill-set and position, thanks guys.

Well one of them needs to be your focus, since they are very different skill-wise. I suggest the first guy because he is actually a REALLY nice SF or inside oriented SG. 1v1 training for forwards sounds like a great idea. It will get you a lot of pops (In handling, jumpshot, driving, and inside shot) so I personally love it. Just make sure both of them get between 48-70 minutes per week and you should be set.

Yeah that's I was thinking. Just didn't want to train inefficiently and have mediocre players, thanks for the insight.

I think these two actually fit pretty well together. The first one can train with the PF and become a nice SF. You will still want to get plenty of JS and OD on the PF so it works out quite well.

one on one forwards for sure. Philippe-Emmanuel Sicotte can get in on that training as well. You could probably train that for most of the season.
