Any good players that shoot 3 pointers very good.
Because my team seems to have a bad 3PT percentage 0.234 (15-64)

You run a low post offense every game, meaning when your team is taking 3pt shots it's generally not from design, and rather because your offensive set has failed- which is going to lead to a lower percentage. 23% isn't good, but it's right around where you should expect if you run an inside-oriented offense. I have a load of good 3pt shooters, and even with that I generally shoot 20% from 3pt in an inside offense, and 40% in an outside offense. If you want to improve your team's 3pt percentage, try running a RnG, Princeton or Motion offense. But if you run an inside offense, it's not a big deal what your 3pt% is. Even if you had a 20 JS/20 JR shooter, he wouldn't be terribly efficient from 3pt in an inside offense- so unless you're going to change your offensive philosophy, I'd say don't worry about 3pt% because largely it will be money inefficiently spent.

Thanks for the tip
I knew that when I play low post,my players shoot from inside, but I set RnG and they still shoot 3 pointers rarely.
Thanks again.

Aye, I wouldn't worry much about it- if you run an inside offense, your FG% from 2pt is much more important than 3pt%.

yes it not that hard to do, my team has always shot over .300 in 3pts..

Pg and pf with 3pt shooting can be a game changer.. inside guys with 3pt shooting are rare in my opinion and are game changers. A pg who just take over from 3pt line is hard deal with along with the passing that they do. Most manger have sg and sf doing all 3pt shooting. Me personally I have everybody doing.

My bench can do it well.. what you cant in strength, you can do in numbers, every 3ptr is a game changer. Just be willing to take the risk . planning and practice make perfect .

I'm not sure my superior 3 point shooting will win me a title. However, I have 5 players with 20-25 Skill Points in JS+JR and 4 more with 15+. So 9 of my 13 rotation players are shooters.

So I am looking to buck that trend.

Also my inside players focus on rebounding which should help.

Overall I am pretty sure I will win the title. But it is mostly because I can outspend my opponents

Last season in a tough D-IV league, I used the outside game pretty effectively and promoted. We shot 36.2% on 3s, and my starting backcourt and SF were all over 41%. The truth is few teams at that level can adequately defend a trio of distance shooters. And they carried me all the way.

At the next level, that's no longer going to work. We're shooting 26% from behind the arc this season, and I've added two strong inside players to balance the attack better.

I will be interested to see how it works for you. I am not the sort of person who thinks in a game you have to do what everyone else does. It should be fun and creative, and you should enjoy your team. Buck away at that trend!

With trying to train 4-5 players at SF/PF I am more of a 2 guard shooting set. However, my best 3PT shooter this season thus far is my PF Which is not too surprising, he shot 31% last season.

I am sure my percentages will improve as I play more games with higher enthusiasm. I am averaging 33% right now. Last season I shot 29% but I was transitioning a lot of players as I was removing my Div 5 lineup. I also added 2 more premium shooters in this off-season.

I will be trying at least one season in Div III with an outside scoring lineup. I am interested as well to see how I do The nice thing about old guys is that I won't get too attached and I as expect to suck in Div III I will welcome the lower salaries!

We've had some outside shooting teams in III.5 in the past several seasons - two seasons ago Deronimo came two points short of promotion in the tiebreaker. I've pretty much transitioned to a Princeton-based outside team, and we've had other teams be pretty successful the past seasons running a lot of motion or R&G.
