Okay, so I have an interesting situation with my minutes this week, and I don't know how to distribute the minutes in my scrimmage. Everybody is close to 48 minutes, and are just a little bit off. I have a trainee who needs to get 48 minutes at PG, and my two other trainees have already gotten 48 minutes. But I don't know what to do for the other 4 positions. Here's all their minutes so far:

Starting SG- 52 Backup SG- 44
Starting SF- 49 Backup SF- 47
Starting PF- 54 Backup PF- 42
Starting C- 54 Backup C- 42

You could run with the lower minutes guys starting, then the higher ones as back ups and select 'sit em' this would best distribute minutes, just make sure there isn't a blow out either way.
Tough choice, some are going to go over. I have read that there seems to be a link to Stamina in whether some players can handle more minutes and keep/raise Game Shape. If you know your players and some can handle the higher minutes or not, this will of course alter your management.

I wouldn't elect 'sit em' though. If your trainee PG fouls a lot then he will get benched as well

What I'd do is just start the guys with the less minutes, then backup the other guys with greater minutes and select 'let them play' in order for your PG to get 48. If some of the backups get jacked up minutes so be it.....I always prioritize starters/6th man minutes then the other players in my roster. And anyways it's D5 so if the GS hit was very slim then it wouldn't hurt that much

I think he mentioned that his PG is just shy of his 48 minutes, if you go 'Sit em' I don't think he is too much risk of missing out, however, he has a great shot of limiting the minutes across the rest of the team.

No, I meant that my PG needs to play 48 minutes in this scrimmage. But thank you both for your advice. I'm going to start my backups and put my starters as the backups and reserves. I think I'm going to do Sit Them like you said because my trainee has gotten no fouls in games where he's gotten 48 and 38 minutes, although I still need to think about it.
