I'm trying to build up a Point Guard for the National Team and I got curious about the effects of the various skills.
Good Outside Defense prevents the other players to make an easy shot(Jump Shot) and forces more turnovers(if handling is lower than OD)
A good Point Guard should know to score from time to time but shan't shoot too much .
High OD, Handling, Passing should be the minimum for a good PG , and driving, jump range, are nice to have, but is it really worth to train Driving up to colossal? Same for JR, sensational is pretty good but it's more important for a SG and even then sometimes it's not worth the extra salary.
I have an 20 year oldMVP trainer since season 22 and I've been training him since then.
So my question is how such a PG should look like? JS/JR/DR ratio, is it too expensive and not worth it if the skills are just minimally higher ?
