Ive read about the elastic effect, my question is- is there better training choices that have more effect? For instance training ID for a PF and a sub ability like Ha gets pulled along? Instead of training Ha and just focus on say a top 3?

Here is a post about the elastic effect: http://bb-usa.net/blog/?p=337. ID and HA are not connected when it comes to the elastic effect. There are certain skills that, while being trained, help other skills train a little bit. For example, HA speeds up OD, DR and PA. OD training is also slowed down by low HA. Hope this helps.

I wonder what mysterious info you Americans conceal in the offsite if even the blog isn't accessible for foreigners. (Subtle hint: link doesn't work for non-offsite users)

Outtake from Rhyminsimon's training simulator, he uses these coefficients to account for the elastic effect:

Trained Skill Elastic Skill

JS DR 0,011
JR JR 0,000
OD HA 0,007
HA OD 0,050
DR HA 0,005
PA HA 0,030
IS ID 0,001
ID IS 0,020
RB IS 0,020 ID 0,010
SB SB 0,000

I love the question.

I am wondering the same thing. What could be expected from this trainee below for instance;

Jump Shot: proficient
Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: sensational
Handling: prolific
Driving: prolific
Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: awful
Inside Def.: strong
Rebounding: respectable
Shot Blocking: awful

Training ideas and expectations welcome.

Best not to ask, at least, unless you're interested in seeing a drone up close and personal. ;)
