1. which is better? 13k/7k/500/50 or 15k/5k/500/50?

2. bleachers max are 30k and lower tier are 10k. but you cant have 30k/10k for bleachers and LT can you?

Your arena shouldn't have much more than 20k seats or they won't sell out I believe. As for question 1: I like the 13/7 route because having more lower tier seems more beneficial in my opinion.

I'm pretty certain you can, but it's not especially productive. I remember reading somewhere here that after a certain amount of seats around the 20k range, you can only start selling one seat for every two you build, and maybe even one per three or one per four after that. I don't plan on getting anywhere near that 20k figure any time soon so I haven't bookmarked the post, but hopefully one of the bigtimers will know what I'm talking about and give the details.

so 13k/7k/500/50 will be an effective arena even tho it exceeds the 20k thing? i will do 12.75k/6.7k/500/50 which is exactly 20k and then see if i wanna go to the 13k/7k/500/50. I just didn't wanna mess up on arena so i wanted a long term plan

also would it be good to have that type of ratio with bleacher and Lt in lower divisions or should that be done in higher divisions?

cuz im hoping to have a arena like this in 2 or 3 seasons

that is similar to the ratio of 12.75k /6.7k/500/50. did my math and that would add up to 12.5k capacity. so that would be my D3 arena but maybe bigger but similar ratios

There's no reason to aim for 4k lower tier when you move up to III - darky's pulling in a little over 3000 with minimum prices and he's coming off a finals appearance: (23003)

On the other hand, you can certainly push to max out the courtside at 500 earlier, since you'd be able to sell those out easily if that was your sole goal (or sell close to 500 with prices in the 70s instead of the minimum of 50). I'd say 40 luxury boxes appears to be the best you can do in III as well - I was selling out 40 consistently at $400, and dropped a few when I upped the price to $415 so I'm back down on that.

Thanks man this has been a big help. going for 10.5k/2k/500/40 or 10k/2.5k/500/40 is what i will do and then build up LT in D2 and then finish off the 12.75k/6.7/500/50

I second what Rik says. Basically this is what i envision for DIV 3:

Overall there is good reason to get your bleachers up before lower and it all relates to pricing. Same with courtside. Lower/Box are limited by pricing as well.

Court is easy to get to max seating. In fact it can sell out at max seating in Div 4.

Also I like to be one of the bigger economies in my division. It frees up cash for other things. Once you get to division 3 you may want to consider maxing your arena to the above before moving from div 3 to 2 so that you can have that extra cash for higher weekly salaries.

Darky coming off a finals appearance, try selling those seats with the demotion penalty! Not happening.

I will finish at 14k/7k/500/50. Maybe finish it off next season. The nice thing about hitting a 20k arena is never having to budget for arena building again. Revenue all goes into roster or staff.
