From the game manual "Shot Blocking: Will help to block shots. Not very useful for perimeter players."

With the changes to the game engine, do others still find this to be true? Or, does SB help alter outside shots as well? If I play a man to man defense, and my point guard has 9 shot blocking (which is insanely high for a guard), is he going to be good at rotating over to help my Shooting Guard defend?

My point guard with 10 OD, 3 ID and 8 SB averages 2.7 blocks per game in 37.8 minutes per game rotating between the PG/SG position. Of course, I play in a D.V, so the level of competition is probably a factor in that. Also, most of his blocks come on drives to the basket; a few come on jump shots, but almost none come from rotations.
