Anyone know which defender the computer picks to be the MTM defender in the Box and One? Is it the player on the floor with the best Outside Defense? Is it the player on the floor who plays the position that corresponds to your opponent's best scorer? Is it always the PG?

Also, anyone have any experience playing this defense? How effective was it for you?

Thanks guys!

Some people say it automatically sets your best outside defender on their best scorer, others say it is whoever you set at PG. I think I have only played outside box and one one or two times (quite awhile ago), but I personally think it is more reliable and you'd be better off by just setting up M2M for defense and place your best defender at the spot where their threat is.

I believe a BB said that the Game Engine calculates who is your best defender based on OD/ID and puts him up against the opposing teams best offensive player.
With my old team, Illinois B.C, I used it against a one-man team that runs the patient offense. My team won easily. Their star still scored plenty of points but it took a lot of shots for him to get there.

I've heard that the best defender also has SB calculated. Is this true?

I'm not sure. I cant find that post from the BB. But it would make sense, especially with the efforts to strengthen SB.
