honestly, I don't know, because I personally find the games to be pointless and stupid, but I bet the minutes are divided pretty strangely and it is probably different for every all star game. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Happened to me too. Had starting bigs and they either had less or equal minutes

The game in my league was fine. Starters got 28~33 mins, back-ups got 15~20mins.

Is probably because the coaching is set to let coach decide most likely. The all-star votes don't necessarily have to reward the most skilled players, so the coach just puts them in.
