This is not a thread to call out specific cheaters or anything like that.
I just want to see your thoughts on cheating in this game. Do you guys think its common? Do you think that it's made a major impact on the game, whether with club teams or national teams. What kind of cheating is most common? Do users get away with cheating more often than not?

I think the game does a solid job spotting and locking out cheaters on club teams. As Perpete mentioned, I think it's nearly impossible to cheat long term and they become increasingly easy to spot in higher divisions where there are a lot more eyes on every team.

As for National Teams? Maybe you can be more specific on what types of cheating are taking place?

We will avoid to go naming teams, but I think farming with a second account to train/pay/sabotage players is the way to cheat for NT.

As a U21 manager for five seasons now, I can confirm that and it's frustrating, because I feel like a lot of U21 and NT managers are using the "If you can't beat them, join them" motto. Add in the politics of TIE and various other deals, and one can clearly see players don't matter anymore in national competitions. But if that was the BBs intent, I applaud to them since the current enviroment mirrors the reality completely (Farm teams = Performance enhanced drugs and NT deals = betting issues and deals under the table).

I'm also against having NT players in D.IV and D.V. Although perfectly legal, one would think LeBron's or Durant's skills would probably regress if he played in China's D.IV. It would make sense to make a rule that says "a team cannot buy a player with salary of 2xTV money".

It's not the TIE agreement that's the problem. It's breaking the TIE agreement to get an edge. Though the simple solution would be to ignore mutual TIE requests.
