Heres the recap of the improvement that will be tested in the All Star Break

"Our first announcement is an addition to the tactics page. BuzzerBeater coaches have discovered that, if they can correctly predict which strategy an opposing team will use, they can get in some last-minute practice and be stronger on the court. You’ll be given the option to predict your opponent’s strategy for a game -- if you guess correctly, your team will get a nice boost against that tactic for the game; however, if you’re wrong, your team won’t perform as well. Of course, you will still have the option of not making a specific prediction, in which case nothing will change. The coaches have suggested that this will help teams compete against opponents with one, dominant strategy. We plan to release this feature for testing in scrimmages during the AllStar break."

So heres my suggestion:
We should have the right to have 2 answers or in a basketball sense, a Plan A and a Plan B

Why?
1. In reality, if you are a coach of a Basketball team, you will not only prepare for 1 tactic of your opponent, that will be a very bad decision. You should have at least a plan B.
2. If we can only give 1 answer, I doubt majority of the managers will actually predict. There are 8 offensive tactics and if we only have 1 answer to give, that means we only have 12.5 % of getting it right and 87.5% of getting it wrong. Will we take the risk? I doubt. Now if we have 2 answers, that 25% of getting it right.

Heres the continuation of my suggestion, if we predicted it right using our #1 answer/Plan A, we will get the full effect while if the #2 answer is correct, only half of the effect

Completely disagree.

This is something that you can either use or not, no one is forcing you to guess.
However, if you guess, you are taking a risk, there should be no plan B because you're risking.
You say there are 8 tactics (it's wrong, there are 10, but it doesn't matter), but honestly how many do you see actually in the games? I can tell you in the last 5-6 seasons I've played against LI and motion. I've never played in a serious match against an isolation, a princeton, a low post, etc... it's not hard to guess at all. And again: this is a managerial game, if you take a risk AND you have a backup, what's the point of taking a risk?

Disagree with more than one choice as well.

And hopefully guessing right won't be too big of a boost, and it becomes something more/as important than GS, HCA, enthusiasm, and differences in player skills at each position.

Scouting your opponent and setting your lineup based on your team's strengths/weaknesses versus your opponent's strengths/weaknesses should always be more important than just guessing a tactic by clicking 1 drop down menu box.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

The option to guess is like telling your coach to prepare for this tactic, and in real life, thats whats happening. Isn't it?
Whats the use of having it if its too risky. And, having 2 plans/guess is more realistic than just having 1 guess.

The more possible guesses you have, the less effective your advantages would be as you have to make sure which of your guesses to follow and because of your players IQ. it´s easier to "stay there, do that", than "if scenario A, stay there, do that".

You could argue that the "slightest" of the guesses is "he´ll play 5 players", while the sharpest is "he´ll play patient vs. the sg". in between is a large variety of nuances. I -do- agree that the amount of malus should probably differ by the similarity of the systems, so if you prepare your team for motion and he plays princeton or r´n´g, that probably not that far off than if you prepared him for an look inside, but how about we simply wait for what´s coming instead of changing it already?

Judging by what I see on the NTs and read in the forums just put LI and leave it there.
