Sorry Joe,

this time my vote goes to Mizu.

With Gkloumis + Janjusevic, and perhaps a new replacement for Asli ? Coach Q's side is extremely scary ! He probably won't end up on top of the conference ranking because he certainly lacks a little depth in his roster, but I don't see him losing a game whenever he doesn't want to.

I cannot agree more with "the blood bath in the second conference" ... Joe, Mizu, behind those 2 Canin and Wolves have kept the same roster and will be difficult to handle, Ventola has also reinforced himself, though he's currently trying to get rid of Barabash, and has youngsters popping up. Stonestars has bought half the core of the national team's veterans to build himself up a strong squad. And the only newcomer, Obira, is far from being a rookie and has started hauling in 100 k players.

And then myself, still investing in belgian youth with our new arrival Brecht Vaes, a possible future NT SG, but I certainly didn't want to miss the opportunity to haul in Marichal, a player I have wanted for a very long time, and finally mine for "only" 1.7 M. This should help the Spartans a huge help to fight against relegation. Don't worry, as soon as Vaes and Claeys are fully trained, and new C & SF are in, Spartans will be up to something better than just "avoiding relegation" :p Patience then.

Some numbers ?

Averarge wages / team in red : 728 k.
Average wages / team in blue : 509 k.

Of course, we should wait until moves are complete, but I think a 220 k difference between all 2 conferences says it all.

Thanks Joe, for the nice predictions. Let's get season 25 started!

Our conference looks tough as hell at the moment. But I think some rosters will shrink a bit during coming weeks (Ventola, Mizu Arlon, Kelmis Spartans, Royal Canin), they all have players on sale.
When these players get sold, it looks like we will have very balanced rosters/salaries in our conference.
This will hopefully bring an open & exiting competition.

As for the other conference, I see KV repeating their trip to the finals. And some spectacular roster upgrades for some teams.

Good luck to everybody,
H

Thx for the summary Joe.

And thanks for the confidence in my team :)
However, I'm not that confident. My only goal is to have a nice and quiet season.
I see myself ending on the #3 or #4 spot. And in the PO's anything can happen ;)

It's next season where i want to make a push for the #1 spot.

Right enough Jona,

as Heyland pointed out I have to let players go to lower my expenses, since a 850 k roster isn't sustainable unless going for a championship win or a B3 campaign.

We share the same problem, training new players but still getting results, especially Claeys, who will be in several season a most amazing PF, but requires out-of-position training, which is painful for a player with such high wages. So I'm suffering but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and that's quite rewarding indeed :)

Now, although this conference is hell, the capture of Marichal will be a fantastic help where my team was the least reliable : SG. I really hope this will be enough to keep myself alive around these parts.

Although i must reckon that unless serious squad improvements I don't fear ending up at the 7th place.

Anyway, when the training of Claeys will be over, expect the Spartans to be much more dangerous (that is, unless I get sent back to D.2 before that).

Good season to all of us, and as always, as little injuries as possible !
