This seems like a duplication to me. the defense you pick is really your prediction of what the other team is going to use, and now you can double it up with predicting their offense too. This seems like it is going to create more of a rock/paper/scissors scenario that a coaching one.

I would much rather see them develop some more advanced coaching tactics.
examples:
Pick and roll offense.
half court trap defense

Option for down 10 switch to new tactic, same for up 10. So I could play patient, but if I get down 10 I could switch to a faster tempo.

Kind of a side issue, but part of the idea behind full court pressing is that you wear down the offense with the pressure, but in the game full court pressure only wears down your team not the other team. That really seems like a flaw to me.

This is interesting for me too, so I think my opponent will play LI, so I put 2-3 zone and I am guessing that the tactics will be LI. Can I put 2-3 zone and guess that opponent's tactic will be RnG?

I like LI and think I am still going to play it after these changes, but I am gonna mix it with Low Post, because I think Low Post is also dominant strategy, right after LI, I am guessing a lot of managers will do the same.
