after alan dubois lost his 1st level, i am constantly checking staff offerings for a lvl 10 trainer. no luck. now, dubois lost another level, so i'm starting to worry, as the pops are more and more far apart. Anyone in the same situation?

I'm in the same boat as you with Dubois, but I haven't seen any slow down in popping.

My last three weeks I've had 4,5, and 6 pops. I'm beginning to think if the difference between 8 and 10 is not all that great. Perhaps saving money by hiring an 8 instead of a ten is well worth it.

Or it could be random.

It is stated in the rules that the difference between a lvl 10 and a 9 coach is very little. But the difference between a 1 and a 2 is considerably higher.

Indeed, I believe that the difference between 9 and 10 is really small, not to say negligable. Furthermore he is still the best out there at the moment, so all of us having Ybarra (the guy most work a lot) still have the top-of-the-line coach, thus there is no one training faster than us at the moment.
