It haven't been tested even once since that change was implemented and you have already made some opinions about this. What's more interesting, this change was announced 1,5 month ago and nobody even discussed it then.

Guards will still be useless. And if you your tendency is to use an outside offense then when your opponent guesses right, then your guards will be even more useless.
