One of my player picked up a 1 week injury tonight. According to the rules:

with a better doctor, more injured players will get quick help and be ready to come back for your next game.


Does the docotr level play a role in determining an injury (the better, the more chances you have of getting small injuries) or also after the diagnose has been made?

With a 10 level doctor should I hope for a <1 week recovery?

Anyone who experienced injuries with the new system?

According to the rules
Doctors help prevent player injuries, and when injuries do occur having a good doctor will make them less severe.

With the new system doctors do not help healing faster.

the problem with this is that yo can interpret it 2 ways:

1) the way you just described.

2) but also another way:
Doctors help prevent player injuries, (That's one thing), and (there is a coma here suggesting another piece of information independent from the first part of the sentence) when injuries do occur (meaning we already have a time estimation?) having a good doctor will make them less severe (meaning: less days that what has been annouced)

I remember in the previous system 1 week could mean 7 days or less. But I never had any injury since the change...

less severe means, for example, +2 instead of +3. Once the injury length is visible no doctor will make it shorter.

There is a long discussion about this in the bugs forum. I know what I am saying, trust me :)

How about:

Doctors help to prevent injuries and give immediate treatment when an injury does occur. A good doctor will result in fewer injuries and less severe injuries. He does not reduce the recovery time after an injury has occurred.
