Looking at the game summary of my final match tonight, on the line where it shows who gave more effort, the following line was there:

"$&#^(^ looked like the only team trying out there."

Does this mean he CTd? coz I TIEd... and won..Ü

No... it doesn't necessarily mean he used CT. It just means that he didn't TIE as well. He could have been playing normal or CT.

No. The text is different for Normal vs. TIE: XXX put more effort into this game than YYY.

text for TIE vs Normal: XXX put more effort into this game than YYY

text for TIE vs CT : XXX put more effort into this game than YYY

text for TIE vs TIE : Both teams played at the same effort level.

hope this is clearer. the text on your match was quite unusual though that's the first time i've seen it but i think still, your opponent played normal or CT

That is at least how they presented it: You will know if your oponent put more, less or equally much effort into a game, but you will not know ho much more or less.

It absolutely does mean he CTed.\

That only appears for CT vs TIE.

A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me

i thought you will not be able to know wether the opposing team played normal or CT against you when using TIE.

What is your source for this?

Regardless, TIE vs CT will give that message - period.

I believe his source was this:

That is at least how they presented it: You will know if your oponent put more, less or equally much effort into a game, but you will not know how much more or less.

If they have different phrases for different CT / TIE / Normal combinations then you will indeed know how much more or less effort was put into the game. No?

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.
