So the revamped and very exiting Fishbowl is in it's 14th season. 1 league, 8 teams, and a brand new poll :)

Except for Geelong Vipers (being the only Div III side in the league), all teams must face a salary cap at some stage of the season. They are as follows...

Every team must not exceed 180k salary when playing Geelong Vipers.

All ABBL teams must not exceed 450k when playing a div ii side.

However, if the Vipers or a Div II side have a roster more than 10% of that, they must let us all know so we can figure out a new solution. EG; A div II side decides to buy up to prepare for ABBL, and now have a 650k roster, to keep things fair, they need to announce this.

*10% extra for div III is 198k and 495k for div II

This will not only make things even across the whole league, but more importantly, more fun overall.

Also (hopefully) this season will see the reutrn of MVP voting or write-ups or something else. Put your hand up if you are willing to contribute. I personally could do MVP's, however need things to settle a little in RL, so just after Aus day at worst.

Bloody hell, you are going to make me have to remember something?!?! I think a condition should be vipers has to bbmail us the week of our game to remind us otherwise we aren't held responsible for playing too many players ;)

If needed, I will send an annoying reminder to those that need it. Once read, best thing to do is work out who can play and set line up asap. Did that last season, and it was quite challenging, but also good experience in the long term. Just adds a new element to your BB experience imo.

I agree. My team was very carefully put together to work as a cohesive unit. Ripping a couple of key players out of the lineup made it very unbalanced and bad. I was just lucky that Lawrance and Sperbert are such wreckers and can play three positions each that I had a fair bit of lineup flexibility.

Yay, we've started!!

I'm pretty sure I can play my whole team seeing as it comes under the financial cap.
