Cheers!

Since this overextension tax I m thinking ways to make economical advantage to make more competitive team in future.

One way is no brainer- have to have couple of trained players (some from scratch some polished diamonds) to make your tax exception as higher as possible.

Second is to boost merchandising by having draftee that plays a lot and has high salary, NT player of home country and roster contained of home country players.

So my question is- is there any scale that can be looked to anticipate merch boost by having lets say 3 60k home country players, two 120 k etc and is there for NT players that play? Also draftee per salary (merch boost if he has 30 k, 60 k, 100 k etc?)

Thx!

I believe someone told me that for NT players get 10% of whatever their salary is if they play in a NT game that week for merchandise boost. As for the other home grown play stuff, I'm not sure how much of a boost it gives, but like you said, trained players that you get when they are young gives you a lot of tax exemption, so they are valuable regardless.

I was under impression that National team players from your own country, give you back about 20% of their salary when they play in the NT.

I believe there could be variances to the amount of merchandise depending on whether the player is a starter or not on the NT.

I am not aware of there being lower rates of merchandise relevant to what division you are playing.

Not sure what the "rebate" was on players who were in your countries U21 team, but assume that it would be between 10 and 20%.

Apart from annoying BBmails asking you to train different things, you get pretty close to sweet FA if your player is playing for another countries National Team

I have had two players in the u21 team and I actually didn't notice any difference when they were playing. And they were both own draftees.

Great effort by you.

I reckon I got a little bump when I had one in the team

I have also a drafted player in U21 ,he was most of the time in the starting line-up.
But I was unlucky because he has now a injury for 3 weeks, this happened on last Saturday's game.
On Sunday when the updates will be there,I know more or less what this has done to my merchandising.
I will posted here, that way we have some idea what we are talking about.

At one point I had tracked about 4 seasons worth of fan surveys and merchandising income results.

From that, I'm pretty confident that the U21 player I had (who was my own draftee) got me ~5K extra in merch for those weeks he was in the lineup. That was when I was in USA D3 (if it matters, and I think his salary was ~ 20-30K.

This season, I've had a NT player who played in some early scrimmages. His salary is 150K, and when he was in the lineup, my merch was ~20K higher than when he's been off the team. That's in USA D2, if it matters.

My rule of thumb then is for U21/NT players from your own country, the added merch is 10-15% of the guys salary. Might not be completely accurate, and may not reflect NT/U21 players from other countries, but it's gonna be close

My 3 trainees are on u21 roster. Only one is regularly playing though. I didn't notice much merch increase but I'm still a fairly new team, so there is probably many other variables. For example I improved my WR from 20k to 10k this season

11/4/2013 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 40 726
11/11/2013 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 41 525
11/18/2013 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 42 184
11/25/2013 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 42 977
12/2/2013 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 43 707
12/9/2013 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 43 696
12/16/2013 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 45 296
12/23/2013 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 45 887
12/30/2013 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 48 647
1/6/2014 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 52 021
1/13/2014 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 53 901
1/20/2014 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 55 319
1/27/2014 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 55 908
2/3/2014 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 56 106

I can also note that my merch incomes were high in my rookie season, when I was playing with the scrubs teams. It started at about 26k, and grew to almost 50k by the end of that first season. When I bought a couple of foreign vets, it dropped to 30k, been raising since, I guess from training.
