Ok, so I've had this idea in place for a long time, so here goes.

In the USA, there has been 0 active or activated users for Division 6.

Same with Canada in Division 5 (right?)

Also the same with all other big league D6s and to some extent D5.

Micronations have never had a user in D3 if I'm correct?

So I'm proposing this change: Remove the last divisions! (Where there are no human inhabitants) They are completely worthless as of now, all they do is clog up the data and cause for awful game lag. Hence why late season there is a big time lapse when games are updated. More data=more calculations for the Engine. Which means more time. If we can take out the last divisions, I bet ya the standings updates would be much, much quicker.

So I'm proposing this change, to help BB run faster and make for more interesting cup games. Still would get a fair amount of bots if we were to take D6 away...

But what happens if there's a sudden influx of new users (unlikely but possible) and the upper divisions get all filled up? The extra space is needed. There's other ways to remove frivolous game calculations... like say, doing a simple coin toss to decides any and all games in divisions that have no active managers. That way the division can still be there in case of a new user influx emergency, and the games don't have to cause a strain on the server...

I think people, myself including, like playing BOT's in cup games. It helps build enthusiasm and allow you to train players and a huge majority of cup games end up being blowouts anyways so I don't see a huge increase in the competitiveness of those either.

As for BB running faster? I don't see a lot of problems with BB running slowly these days so I'm not sure what that would change?
