I planned to pay supporter (and possibly second team) with credit card. According to the payment info it should perfectly possible to do this without the need of a Paypal account:

Use PayPal to pay by credit card (even if you don't have a PayPal account) or using your PayPal account (Recommended)

However, once clicking on this option it only has two alternative: either using an existing account or creating one. In other words t is not possible to pay without a Paypal (or one of the other providers) account. This has been possible before.

(As long as I can't to such a simple thing as paying without the need of registering a special account for this I will simply not pay)

When I choose PayPal as my payment option and then it redirects me to their site, I can click on " Pay with my credit or debit card
(Optional) Sign up for PayPal for faster future checkout". It then opens the option to pay without logging in. Is this not visible to you?

I tried that on my phone now and then it works like you described (so I will be able to pay in other words). However, when I did it from my computer l was redirected to a Swedish PayPal where this option is not available. I will check later on if I get access to it from the computer too by switching language.

I just checked on my computer and it does redirect me to a Swedish version that does not have the option to pay without an account.

You could send the funds to a friends account from abroad and then he can buy it. Other than that you can use PayByCash or SuperRewards.

I know that there are ways around it. I could of course create a Paypal account. However, I just don't like when things that should be simple are made complicated just because someone wants to bea able to track by payments (Paypal in this case), so I opt to vote with my money, i.e. not pay.

So, you're voting against PayPal by not purchasing a product from BuzzerBeater? I don't think it will work

Well it is buzzerbeater that has chosen a provider that requires an account to make a payment. There are plenty of alternatives, but you have chosen PayPal. Probably you have chosen this provider because you think they give you a better product, so that's of course up to you. Just as it is up to me to decide if I want to use that service or not.

According to PayPal's own statement on this page, (https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/cps/gener...) not requiring an account gives a total of "on average a 9% higher total payment volume". Most people that don't pay well just choose not to pay and don't say anything. I prefer to communicate why I don't pay with the, possibly naive, hope that I can get a change.

And we do appreciate your communication. I'm sorry if I was rude before, it's the stress

It's true, we chose PayPal. I guess it was and still is the most widespread platform for payment on the net, but I may be wrong. That's certainly the reasoning behind the choice. Also, it does allow payment without registration for most people, but it doesn't for you, which sucks.

However, there are alternatives which *should* work for you. Already mentioned PayByCash and SuperRewards. Is there any reason you don't want to use those?

As fgar as I understand they all require some kind of account in ordr to be able to pay. Correct me if Iäm wrong. As soon as their is a normal card payment available I will pay, but if there isn't I won't. It's a simple as that.
