Kozlik:

With the implementation of game day preparation has your philosophy changed at all? Two seasons ago you offered a suggested NT roster that was extremely different than ever before seen in Canada. Players like Trotter and Gaudreault (at guard) instead of Kearns, Lavigne, or Hadley. 35 year old Abu-Kaleel as the starting SF. You also had Hall as a big man, which is questionable due to our lack of quality SF and perceived pure LI philosophy.

One particular case with your Canadian NT guard selections involved a player who was -5 JS, -6 JR, -4 OD, -1 PAS and +2 IS, +5 ID, +4 REB compared to a player you left off. It's quite a leap for me to accept that those increases in guard insides at the expense of the more significant decreases in guard JS/OD/PAS (and a genuine deficiency in shooting and defensive skills for NT level) would produce a more effective player. Also, Abu-Kaleel predictably turned into a pumpkin, etc.

It's very difficult to question you after seeing your various successes with club and NT teams. I've also seen all your club team player skills (forwards 2 seasons ago, guards right now) and know you have expertise with secondary skills that I do not.

I am sorry to dissapoint you guys but do not have time for proper speech. If you want to know about my successes (league, cup) and failures (BBB) just look at past two seasons.

I am not going to claim that I have more knowledge of the game and more successes than Kozlik because that's just not true, but it seems that at this point Canadian BB community is a bit risk averse, so I want to provide experienced candidate that is commited to BB community as an alternative. And when I say less risky I mean more well known in Canada, because my style when it comes to actual games will be different than Bballins (I would try to continue his great job with scouting and training management though, which I already was able to help with before this season). For games I would like to take more risks. I am not fine with being outside of playoffs in World Cup, and basically settling for that place by not risking. Could we lose more games with more risk? Of course. But we can't win without it.

Anyway, I am hoping that whoever wins this elections, Canada will be left with great manager on charge, and second great manager being an assistant.

Also, I think I can answer the question about Gaudreault as well. During that season LI was a dominant tactic and that wasnt going to change since GDP wasnt in place. I would aslo cut one guard from the rotation (we still would have plenty on the roster) to have LI SG that could create a massive mismatch

Alright. I've decided to go ahead and run for the National team manager. I've been here for a long time now, worked with some great people and would like to add to and enhance the National team, both in terms of player quality and community involvement.

I'm not going to write a huge post, but if you have questions feel free to ask.

TL;DR/warning: ignore this whole post because I'm just being needlessly annoying and whiny.

it seems that at this point Canadian BB community is a bit risk averse, so I want to provide experienced candidate that is commited to BB community as an alternative. And when I say less risky I mean more well known in Canada, because my style when it comes to actual games will be different than Bballins (I would try to continue his great job with scouting and training management though, which I already was able to help with before this season). Bballin went 4/4 on GDP in our three losses and our five opponent's went 0/1 GDP against us. We had higher overall ratings in all five games. I think we were without a fit Denny Hall for our last two losses too.

Not sure I agree with the emphatic assessment that more risk would've been better. 2-3 with Hall is very risky and without Hall is just plain bad.

Also, I think I can answer the question about Gaudreault as well. During that season LI was a dominant tactic and that wasnt going to change since GDP wasnt in place. I would aslo cut one guard from the rotation (we still would have plenty on the roster) to have LI SG that could create a massive mismatch

Kozlik's most suspect guard selection wouldn't have been Gaudreault, it was a player with 14 JS/8 JR/16 OD and only +2 IS higher than Kearns (who he left off). That's very curious to me and frustrates me even more that my player has never received a skill check for his NT (despite constant pleading) while being almost +14 combined JS/OD/IS/HND/DRV and almost +4 REB/ID and only -1 combined PAS/JR. /whinewhinewhinesorrysorrysorry
