im in a cup game against a much better player, he has many good players with bad game shape, there enthusiasm will be high do to him always playing take it easy, which i guess may also help me since i will play crunch time.

anyways i wanted to ask some advice if i could, he always plays and inside box and one, statistically speaking my offense is bad at outside scoring, but i am saving my best outside scorers for this game, i was wondering what i should play against him, priceton, motion, or run and gun, i currently have motion but i can change it, also he always plays run and gun offense, i know to predict it, but should i play man to man or 3-2 zone or some other defense, i currently have man to man because of there star center that seems to start every game, but if anyone can give some pointers on how to beat him, please let me know

Yeah only play 3-2 zone if you got good OD on your SF, his outside scoring isn't all that better than his inside scoring so not playing 3-2 won't hurt you that much. The problem is his defense, both inside and outside it's relatively strong. If you have a wing player with decent OD and good scoring, you can play him on SF, play patient and hope for a mismatch. Otherwise, play to your strengths I'd say as his outside defense isn't much worse than his inside defense.

cool thanks, the SF im playing for the game has OD equal to my SG and more than my PG, my PG has bad OD but makes up for it with strong passing and all manger sites say he is my best option for PG, my SF is actually a big man with good OD but his jump shot is bad, im considering playing motion because he plays inside box and one and my SG and PG are both decent scorers for my team (probably weak for his), should i switch this to patient?

I think if your back court is better, play push the ball, just pray your defense hold up, so the good scorer on the bench can edge the game. Yes put a very good scorer on the bench to attack his bench.

Also play gdp feature

my back court is worse, he always plays the same players, so his back court is has good game shape while his starters dont, im not taking it easy, my starters are the best i have and my back court is the second best, i used my worst players in my league games, but his back court is better then mine

he has 1 player that is his key player. I see his 3pts team shooting are kind of bad and his staying out of foul trouble is too.

If you are stronger there then attack the free throw line and make his back up play at beat him at ft line. I don't think man to man would be wise.. but it good if have the shot blocking in your favor to deter shot try. 2-3 is risky an gamble, so is 3-2 with your team. your going to have to beat him from the bench and the free throw line.

what defensive tactic to you choose would depend on how well you create turn overs and get to the ft line the most. I think team his is just better. I would use gdp feature too.
