Top 5
ATL The Hawks 8-0 (CR 21, WR 670) A strong mix on the offensive end makes the Hawks a very strong team with the league's #1 defense. The Big 8 is may be strong but will pose no threat unless the Hawks suffer a late season injury.
Tucumcari Whalers 7-1 (49, 1312) The Whalers would love to have that game against the Wolf Dogs back but have shown a strong hand to the Great 8 thus far. They laid a thorough beat down on the Buckeyes and big win against the Bruins to put themselves in a good position to be the driver half way through the season. The big problem for them lies in the fact that they must play the 3 top teams in the Great 8 on the road in the second half of the season.
Senecaville Bombers 6-2 (36, 1110) Both loses this year have been on the road, losing recently to the All-Stars they will look to seek revenge on their rival at the tail end of the season to possibly determine home court advantage in the 2/3 matchup.
The Ohio State Buckeyes! 6-2 (39, 1163) After a rude welcoming into their first Division 2 debut against the Whalers the Buckeyes have managed to steal a win from the Bruins and hold up strong against the remaining competition. The Buckeyes have a bad taste in their mouth in the game against the Badgers as it was clear they paid off the refs to take that game away....27 PF to 12 PF. Expect revenge the second time around.
Bruins 6-2 (15, 559) Another victim of two road defeats they look to even the score by the time the second half of the season rolls around. I fully expect the Bruins to get even and find their way into the #1 slot in the Great 8.
The Remaining 5
Ron Swanson All-Stars 5-3 (81, 1759)
Muppet Honey Badgers 5-3 (82, 1790)
Libertines 4-4 (61, 1466)
Lake Merritt Arrows 4-4 (74, 1667)
Cyborgs 4-4 (143, 2974)
