I wouldn't train player 1. With bad OD, Passing and IS i don't see a good position for him.

sorry, perhaps i wasnt clear, i know these are my best two trainees, there both 18 yo and perineal all stars in potential, but since i have to train them at the same time, what should i train now, the only thing that is bad in both players is passing, should i train passing first, and if so what should i train after that, if not then what should i train instead?

I would get rid of player 1, I don't really see him being good at anything. He could become a defensive C, but he is a little short to train in that respect. Player 2 looks great. I would look around for a couple more trainees. Doesn't need to be anything amazing, 18-19 year old stars/allstars are ok if you can get them for less than $10k.

I would start with some 1v1 FW to get his driving+handling up to 17-18 or so (I'm talking 8-9 in each of handling and driving). Then thinking about a little bit of OD (up to about 9 or 10, will be slow based on height). Add a bit of passing, shoot for 8 or 9 (10-12 if you are feeling ambitious). Then just hammer inside skills and JS until they cap. That should give you a pretty good PF for D III and excellent for D IV.

edit: if you are dead set on player 1, I would still follow the guide above and just have him along for the ride. I wouldn't expect great things, but he could be an ok PF for a D IV or D V team.

PA trains fast on everyone, and since it is lower than his other guard skills, the elastic effect will help it train a bit faster until it gets closer. Next I would train OD to proficient, then either do some 1v1 or more PA. Good looking big you got here.

His OD, HA and PA are all low, and his height will only make training tougher. His low IS doesn't help him out, either. Training a young player in 1 bad skill is hard enough, but 3 are just too many IMO. However, I would keep him as a secondary trainee who gets training wherever possible. Player 2 should be your focus.

There is a formula that lets you know when your player is within cap range. The way that you know is that training will slow down and you will not see your player pop in skills as often as you think he should
