If I have a player with atrocious JS and prominent JR, what would that mean? Can he shoot at all? Or he can shoot 3-pointer only, but cannot make a layup, huh?

He'll be a bad shooter, even from long range. The higher Jump Range means that his jumpshot gets less worse from a greater distance, but since his Jump shot is already atrocious, even if it doesn't get much worse, it's still atrocious at best as far as I know.

Also, I don't think a players should have 4 JS at the minimum to have 10 JR, since you don't get 3 JS pops every 3 JR pops if you train JR. JR could be 7.9 while JS could be 1.0.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like JS is much more important than JR.

i always thought players with low JR just don't shoot that much from outside (if you play the right tactic)

What if the player was 40 and had experienced JS skill drops? Or if he had experienced several cross training pops in JR?

Are you sure about that?
