Ok, I'm playing a team who has a great SG. It's his best player by far and he runs the outside isolation on offense. I'm thinking about playing an outside box and one to stop him. Is that a good idea? I'm kinda new here so I dont know what defenses work against certain offenses and vice-versa. Could you guys give me any pointers? And what you would suggest i run on offense. Thanks.

And here's my starting lineup.... Dont make fun of it. lol

No, don't use Outside Box-and-One. It doesn't always put the best perimeter defender on the opponent's best scorer. What you should do is put your player with the best OD at SG. I can't really tell you what to run on offense unless I know the skills of your players.

If you want to tell me, or need help with other stuff, feel free to BB-Mail me.

For game day preparation, make sure to choose Balanced and Normal if you think they will continue playing outside isolation (yes, isolation offenses are balanced normal, it's strange).

I second playing your best defender at SG and not going with outside box-and-one. Looking at his previous games and your players, it may advantageous for you to choose an inside offense (maybe Look Inside?)

I was thinking low post. What is the difference between the two besides the pace?

What u Should do is Play a full Court Defense to keep the team for setting up plays for him. u will also get steal and force alot of turnovers and at offense put push the ball this will also gets u alot of fast points it like the 48 mins of hell defense from Arkansas its effective

If you do run an FCP defense, the best results will probably occur if most of your players have a stamina level of mediocre. Having OD also helps.

I couldn't run my team like that. I don't have the stamina for it. You should fire some players from your team. 23 is too many.
