If selecting team training for FTs, does the player age still matter with respect to how quickly they improve?

Will a 21yo improve FT Shooting faster than a 27yo?

Thanks

Age has no influence on FT and Stamina trainings.

Tell that to my ten 50 year olds!!!

I can't remember the last time I trained stamina & at least one of my players didn't drop because of it.

I thought I had read that before.

So the follow up question is:
When giving Team Training to FT, is there the 'extra' training which goes to a random skill?
If yes, then does age affect the progression of the randomly selected skill?

After getting a pop from 1v1 Forwards, I recommend training OD until he hits strong. Due to how low his OD is compared to his guard skills, the elastic effect will help speed up OD training until it gets closer to the rest. Then I would train PA until he hit strong. If you have a week where you only play 2 games or he gets less than 42 minutes at PG, then I would switch to 1v1 or JS Guards.

I would recommend just a few more weeks on 1v1, until his handling and driving are around 9 or 10. Then focus on OD until he hits 9-10.

After that, you might want to think about adding to his JR and ID, but it really has to do with what kind of player you want. You probably want to add to his OD to ~12, JR to 8-10, Passing to 10-12, and JS to 12. Just my opinion.

edit: also, you probably want his ID up to about 6-7, his potential is such that it would make sense to train some ID early, before he caps. Also, you probably don't want to train his rebounding at all, since that will take up valuable cap space.

thanks tictacshack, i got a pop on 1v1 forwards from my trainee last week.

by the way what is the difference in training for 1v1 forwards against 1v1 guards?

(2) would there be a difference if i train for example od for 2 positions only ( pg / sg) versus 3 positions? ( pg/sg/sf)?
