I have a PG who I believe I can get to about

13 10
10 12
10 13
4 5
4 1
7 9

Will he be useful? Should I make changes? What are his strengths and weaknesses? Can he be effective in USA II?

He'd be useful for Cup games in early rounds or if you're going against a team that's tanking. Certainly he can't play regular minutes against top teams in II or even III, to be honest, with OD that low and not enough inside skill and defense to hide at SF.

If that's the maximum he can get because of his potential or age, I would suggest not counting on him as anything more than Cup/Friendly fodder if you're planning on moving up. And please understand that I say this as someone who routinely makes the point that star potential players can be trained to be good enough to be valuable in higher levels, and I actually use them.

So, if I'm hearing correct...I should worry less about his shooting and put those extra points into OD and maybe some more inside scoring?

He is 20 now with perrennial all star potential. I can make plenty of changes to some of the goals but this is kind of where I went using Coach Parrot scout tool.

Current skills:

6 7
7 10
7 9
1 4
4 1
7 9

I have the training simulator. The CoachParrot scout tool just seemed more useful as I can swap players/plans and get an idea when they will hit benchmarks. Is it not as accurate?

I am a personal fan of more OD and PAS, because it stays in your salary more easily and they are still effective, especially when you are dealing with a lower potential player.

This is my backup PG in D.III and he has been doing well for me.

DMI: 77500
Age: 28
Height: 6'7" / 201 cm
Potential: star
Game Shape: strong
Jump Shot: average Jump Range: awful
Outside Def.: wondrous Handling: average
Driving: average Passing: sensational
Inside Shot: mediocre Inside Def.: mediocre
Rebounding: inept Shot Blocking: inept
Stamina: average Free Throw: proficient

Experience: respectable

Obviously he only has star potential so his offense isn't really where I want it to be, but for a backup role, he is great and a cheap salary of only 10k. Basically, I can use him in D.III because he isn't a liability on defense, and that is the most important and then he can handle himself on offense because of his decent passing.
