Hey all, back up to div2 for me hopefully for a lot longer than usual! Interested to get the ideas of the more experienced managers in the div who are the favourites for the year?

Anyone going full tank mode, all out for the win or is everyone just going to wait and see what everyone else is doing?

Edit: Great to see the Bandits up here as well round one hopefully I can continue my winning form against you!

Hey! My first time in div 2 this season. So I'm just looking to stay alive and compete while I save cash and build for a future title run. Although we are not a real threat at all this season to the championship contending teams, we are no push over. I'm looking forward to the new season and wish everyone the best.

Jw would be the favorite, with hopefully a change in his luck!

Looks like you guys don't have an abbl demotee again this season, so a real big chance for someone to promote.

I think you'll be fine kingy. Your roster has tremendous depth and as far as im concerned the teams with the most depth tend to get by :)

Im actually in Cremorne/Richmond so close enough to call it a local derby as well. Utopian team is Cremorne Crusaders.

Hello everyone.

Looks like it will be a tough season! Both conferences have almost same amount of good teams. Some new teams have a decent roster. Good enough roster to put pressure on anyone that is competing for the trophy this season. Though, it's still difficult to see the managers' intentions this early as some teams are still selling players. We'll get a get a clear picture of team strength in a few weeks.

I believe that roster depth does not represent a teams strength. It tells me the strategy and the amount of risk a manager is taking.

Anyways, good luck, have fun and hopefully, we'll get some real banters happening!

Yes it should be a very tightly contested season indeed. It looks like we are going to have to wait a while before we can identify the championship contenders. And yes roster depth does not represent strength in a team.... But almost always you will find the strongest teams have depth
