Just wanted to know how some managers scout their opponents without using any programs (DMI, salary, statistics, role,etc).
P.S. Can someone give me a detailed explanation on the relevance of DMI please.

Well, DMI is a rough evaluation of your opponents players skills combined with GS.
I believe it is a very good system to compare your team against the opponent's,
to see your advantages and your weaknesses.
P.S. don't look at them until Friday, these are still from last year.

I use salary as a baseline, adjusted by gameshape. Then I check wether he has played with more or less effort in the last couple of games, and check his tactics and predictions.
