So i noticed i have 1,5k season ticket holders.. they are supposed to pay money for the tickets, so why don't we get any money from season ticket sales? It makes no sense really.

It doesn't exactly work like that. Season ticket holders are the number that will ALWAYS be in your arena for every game, no matter what. But, you don't get any money initially, as it happens in real life.

OK, so if last season I had around 860 season ticket holders and now I have around 960 what does that tell me?

Is this an indication that the overall average attendance this season will be slightly higher than last season?
Is this an indication that I can raise the price of my tickets?
Are these ticket holders mainly VIP's and fans who buy the more expensive tickets?

Because if all it tells me is that I will have a minimum of 960 people attending each game, that doesn't relly help with anything at all... The moment when I have around 1000 people coming to games is when I would throw in the towel... :)

Heh, I would say no to all of those. But, it's a great measurement of if your team is improving in the eyes of the fans. Attendance probably will be higher with that being said, though.
