There are parts you can control and parts you can't. The TV contract is set for the season, so it's not going to change either way. Your arena attendance is something you have some control of, by building up your arena and trying to set appropriate ticket prices. You can also have some influence on merchandise but that's something that is more a long term process (trying to have homegrown or home country players whenever possible). Of course, Cup victories and transfer revenue also bring income but it's not something you want to have to rely on for budgeting.
The other way to improve your economy is keepng costs reasonable. Player salaries, staff salaries and scouting all can be controlled to make sure you're not overextending. And I can definitely say you have a problem with player salaries currently - your two highest players are taking up almost $100k per week, which is destroying your economy. When in V, you should look to be building your arena and developing trainees, and learning to win with reasonable salaries, and spending a million and a half in salary this season on those two guys is going to put you further and further behind.
