I would get OD and ID both up to 8 and then you could move into 1v1. After that maybe JR to 7 and see from there.

Well you can make him a SF so he'll basically need to train all skills. Which skills to train first and how long depends on preference. I like my trainees to be able to defend and pass first, so they're not a liability. Defense also trains slowly so it's a pain to do at later ages. However, something is to say for training 1v1 first in order to get in many pops for the elastic effect.
As long as you keep getting him 48 minutes a week and don't train one or a few skills endlessly, I think you'll be fine with this guy :)

I bought this player when he was 19 and trained him into this. This should be somewhat comparable because they are the same height.
Jump Shot: prolific Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: tremendous Handling: tremendous
Driving: tremendous Passing: sensational
Inside Shot: prolific Inside Def.: prolific
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: mediocre
Stamina: pitiful Free Throw: strong
Experience: inept
He's now 24. If you want a build similar to that, I suggest that you make him look like what he did when I bought him, which was Prominent JS/IS and Respecatable everything else (except JR and SB on my guy of course)
