Hey all,

I'm flying over to NY and LA at the end of the year and have started to buy some tix for 10 games I'm planning to watch.

Heres my current schedule i have planned.

2/1 NYK / Detroit
4/1 NYK / MIL
5/1 BKN / DAL (bought decent tix already)
7/1 BKN/ BOS (decent tix)
8/1 NYK / ROCKETS!!!!
9/1 BKN/ PHILLI (may have to skip due to nagging girlfriend...)
10/1 NYK / CHA (see above)
12/1 BKN / HOUSTON!!! (bought good tix!)
13/1 LAKERS / HEAT!!!! (As long I get outta LAX in hours and drop my luggage somewhere....)
15/1 LAKERS / CAVS! (Gotta see the KING)

Anyone have some tips for buying tix? Do I buy now thru the resale site, Wait for the official release or wait til the game day? My main concern is the LA Cavs game and Knicks Rockets. I am happy to spend a bit more on these 2 games.

Ive bought some tix already through the official resale site for Brooklyn (www.ticketsnow.com) and managed to get some decent seats for v Houston, Boston & Dallas, costing about 150 a seat.

I figure the good games will sell out and be hard to get tix for later on, the lesser teams prolly get some specials closer to the day.

Ive heard about stubhub.com and its a good looking site but ticketsnow seems to have better prices atm. That might change as more tickets are released.

Any advice appreciated!

I think seeing Chicago Bulls would be fun because of the return of Derrick Rose along with picking up Pau and finally signing Nikola Mirotic. I plan on going to see Cavaliers / Bulls.

Maybe Spurs too? I haven't seen these Spurs live, but I imagine that execution would be enjoyable to watch.

Stubhub should get more tickets once season ticketholders put their tickets up once the season starts. Seeing a game at MSG is probably going to be more expensive than barclays. Stubhub is my go to closer to gameday but if the Knicks are good this year it might get expensive.

I hope you enjoy the States. I was in Australia for a couple of weeks this summer (your winter) and thoroughly enjoyed myself and the flat whites. Even got to see a game at Anzac Stadium in Sydney. Great sporting culture you have in Australia. I work near MSG so if you need any local suggestions just ask.
