Hi guys,
a quick question: I have drafted a player and I really don't know what to do with him

Jump Shot: awful Jump Range: awful
Outside Def.: atrocious Handling: respectable
Driving: strong Passing: strong
Inside Shot: strong Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: strong Shot Blocking: inept
Stamina: respectable Free Throw: mediocre

Experience: atrocious

He is 19 has star potential but is only 6'1 and I don't know if it would be worthwhile training him.Can I still make a decent point guard out of that guy or do I go for a mini center^^? Any input would be appreciated!

He'd take too long to train as a center because his skills would take long to train because of his height. I'd recommend selling him and hopefully someone misses the fact that he's 6'2... His guard skills (besides pa, ha and dr) are terrible. So probably sell him

I don't think he's untrainable. Good thing about his height, is that he already has good big man skills. His guard skills would then train quickly, because he's short. If you're willing to train his OD for a season, he could be a good SF eventually.

The problem would be the first season of horrible game ratings at PG, until his OD increases a bit. But elastic effect should help a bit.

If you really want to train a player, you can get a better one for a couple of bucks. If you prefer training your own drafted players, he's trainable to become an SF. His skills/length are actually great for that because you only need to train guard skills, and short players train faster in those.

Train OD until 12, JR until 9, HA/DR until 11, PA until 9 and finish with some JS until he caps and you'll have a nice SF.

Thanks for the input guys,at the moment i'm trying to sell him but if it doesnt work i still might train him.Although training od for a whole season would not really benefit some of the younger guys im still training.
