I'm running again. At the start of my last term, I really thought this season 29-30 team would be our best. I thought there was very little chance our season 28 team could make a semifinal, let alone win worlds. While we had the best roster ever for this team, we had a ton of players that we're still training. We aren't at our peak yet. Of the final 18 players, 8 we're still training (main skills, not just FTs), and 7 players were either 27 or younger, so they have 3 more worlds seasons to go with the team. We'll only lose 3 of our final 18 guys for next worlds, and only 1 (Xermade) is a disappointing loss.

We'll continue to focus on developing younger players, specifically guards. All 3 players we'll lose from our season 28 team were guards, and McCullough and Walter only have 1 more worlds run left.

We've had an idea in the past that we never really stuck with, but I'm going to give it another go. I'm going to take the top 7-10 10+ potential 18 year old guys and try to work with their manager to create a top 140+ skill point player. We'll only do this in odd numbered seasons, so we'll only be stealing guys from the U21 pool from their America's teams. I'd like the U21 worlds teams to be the best they can be. If only 1-2 players every 2 seasons pans out, that'll be a success. Hopefully this can lead to some longer term success.

Let me know if you have any questions about the team and future plans in the debate thread. Thanks!
