Hey ive been pondering about getting rid of some older guys and focusing on my trainee and perhaps another....i'll be training focusing my trainees for inside offense/defense then handling or passing. How do u successfully continue training ur bigs and u also draft a guard next season with high potential? Do u try and train them together? Maybe a dumb question but if i sell off some of my vets i will have money to buy another big or maybe a sf. I just dont see how teams continue training big guys for a few seasons while they are also training a pg's

Well, if you were representing a real Perry township school instead of Southport... ;)

On a more serious note, it takes some planning. Luckily, people are coming around to the realization that just training big man skills on big men or just guard skills on guards is inefficient. So it's possible to train both at the same time, maybe staggering your trainees out so that you round up the first group with one on one (or some other two position training) while you bring in the next set of trainees - so finish the big men with one on one when you've added your new guard trainee(s), for example.

Wouldn't say I'm a local - I lived there for three years only, but I did graduate from Perry so I kind of had to comment. I do remember that there are some other people that have teams from Indy, though.
