Is it official that there will be none in the future
what is the plan
hurts for local players not to be worth as much
never having a chance for either team

Merch boosts from NT members are pretty large. Large enough that I'm sure without an NT, more managers than usual simply would not care about training Utopian players.

For a variety of reasons I can see not having an NT for the immediate future. But if the plan is to have an eventual NT, shouldn't the U21 system be in place? Next season will be the first that Utopian players, at the age of 21, will have had 3 years of training. Making it competitive with the rest of the world.

If there's an eventual NT, then the U21 infrastructure should be put in place. Volunteers be would needed to scout Utopia's own talent pool. And what better place to start assembling interested managers than for U21.

As for scheduling. Couldn't it rotate every season between which areas of the World it would compete against?

So I'll just speak for myself, if there's no NT in the pipeline, then I flat out don't care about Utopian players. The only interest I would have would be for a possible future merch boost.

Others may have different motivation.

Well I was blessed with a pair of 18 yr old per all stars on my initial roster
thinking maybe I should just sell them and buy some other guys to train from another country

I came to Utopia to get away from the crazy world of "this guy is the best manager ever" and needs to lead the national team crap. Then there is the langauge barrier, even as a guy that speaks multiple languages (only 3 fluently though) I would imagine it would be difficult to even scout players and develop "player builds". Even with the Greatest Manager That Ever Lived.
