EDIT: Please read the text carefully! The question is not whether autobid should be developed, but if autobid for Supporters only gives them an unfair advantage over the rest of the BB population.

Due to a large number of discussions related to autobid, a suggestion of a feature that could be implemented in BB rather easily, we decided to see what our users think about it. If there is any form of it we would consider implementing, it would be for Supporters only, 1 autobid active at a time. This poll will not automatically trigger any decision, but will help us see if we may be wrong about our view of a possibly very controversial feature, one that, we believe, would give Supporters a tangible advantage hence pushing BB towards pay-to-win type of games (which we would definitely like to avoid).

Again, I would like to warn users to keep on topic, refrain from personal attacks/flames, keep civil and concise or your posts will be deleted.

Hello Marin, I am a BB Supporter recently and I vote Yes.

I think setting up the Autobid only for Supporter would be really unfair.
Why not put it to all users?

In the end, I'm not sure Autobid is a good idea , it might take away the charm of bids, bidwar and "good business ". This is just my opinion. :D

just so everybody not involved in the other discussion can see the argument mentioned by marin before:

The autobid is a feature which would greatly reduce page views. I'm not afraid to admit it. Buzzerbeater is free but not a charity. We have expenses which need to be paid for by Supporter packages, and, yeah, ads. You remember those things which you so conveniently blocked? Well, they pay for the game mostly. More seen/clicked ads, more funds for BB promotion campaigns, better servers/equipment, more beer for me...

You see, it's not that simple. Would autobids be convenient and useful for our users? You betcha, and that's why we can't even make them a Supporter only feature, since we don't want to turn BB into a pay-to-win (Supporters don't see the ads anyway). But at the moment, we can't turn it off since it would hurt too much financially. We'll try and think of something though. And we're open to ideas, of course.

I'm supporter and I voted yes.

Obviously, it would not give a huge advantage to supporters. But even a small one is unfair. In my opinion, it would be a step to pay-to-win. And we don't want to see this.

You really should take care about this (I know you actually do). Keep the fundamentals of the game alive. That's why we are still here after 29 seasons.

There's no fair way to implement an autobid feature in my mind.
Giving it only to supporters, even if limited, would be the first step toward a pay-to-win kind of game indeed. And giving it to everybody would kill BB, plain and simple.

I'm also a supporter and I voted no.
I don't really see in what extent this potential new feature would be an unfair advantage. All I can see is that it would improve ergonomics. This feature does not help you to gain any money.

I don't either think this would encourage to invest in a package supporter.

I've been here for 7 long (real life) years and what I love most of BB was no matter if you are or not a supporter has the same chances to win. It's always depends on you, how much time you invest in the game: reading forums, watching games, training players, searching in TL, playing with your rival's mind, chating with other users, etc.So far (real) money can't win tittles nor even give you advantages over your rivals, maybe PL and now Utopia can give you more game to experiment with the GE and different types of builds though.

I would like BB stays out the pay-to-win type of games as much as possible. If you will implement an autobid feature,or anything that give you an advantage, that would need to be for everyone or no one.

Don't lose your inner beauty BB, that's was make you special and unique.
