Hello guys
My account got banned after I reported 2 german (very well respected and paying) teams for blatantly cheating. These 2 teams made 14 transfers between the two off them and several for over 3 million. I guess I pissed off 1 arrogant, powerhungry GM too many.
I wanted to tell you what happened and and like I said I wanted to say goodbye.
As you all know I am the owner off the Moomins and when I was at work, I got a colleague to sign up for another team. The Gibraltar monkeys. I reported this straight away to avoid any problems. Same IP etc could cause any problems. They allowed it and me and my colleague agreed to avoid playing in the same league. For all this time, until I reported these 2 cheating Germans (their accounts are still open off course), noone said a word.
Than another colleague wanted to play as well (Rot Weiss Essen). We agreed to the same terms (because I spend so much time and effort and money into this game) and he registered a team in Germany. Same here again. I reported this and asked a GM if this would be ok. No actions were taken, no transfers were done between any off these teams and both teams are in separate countries.
Later on, my wife wanted to have her own account and help train english players for the english NT after she found out how much I liked the game and how much I wanted the NT to do well. She doesnt understand the game well and as you can see (Cuban Heroes) she never did very well. Her team is in the Spanish League, so once again no harm done in any way and no transfers between all the 4 players. With this team as far as I remember I brought this to the attention off a GM as well. But in this case I am not 100% sure.
As you can see, we all 4 enjoyed this game for quite a long time, until I reported the 2 blatant cheaters and a GM found it necessary to ban all 4 off us. Why, it totally beats me. We didn't bring the game in any disrepute whatsoever. Teams in different leagues, no interaccount transfers etc They could have banned 1 or 2 teams, but they banned all 4.
I have decided not to appeal the ban, because it is clear that as long as you pay to play this game, you get away with cheating. If you don't, and you followed the rules, but say something they don't want to hear, they ban you. Also my colleagues, who, can you blame them, like sports, working for an online betting company.
