you probably have enough on board to compete against most teams. Your arena is fine, You have very good depth which will help matters in III. But to be a consistent contender you will need to add someone with real panache in the back court, and add some quality depth up front ,look for someone with a inside defense rating of at least 12. Train defense, the higher you go up the BB ladder the more defense counts.

You need to get some more expensive (and skilled) starters. The league average for my DIII last week was 230k. Jung and Eslava are probably serviceable but you will have to replace them eventually as well. I would be looking at some guys in the 40-60k range.

You're getting lied to. I finishes 6th in my league and my sqaud is loaded. Maybe a pair of 30k guys will cut in some DIIIs but it won't in either of the 2 I was thrown into. And both are perimeter guys that will get stifled by the insanely high OD everyones guards/SFs have.

Even with 8 guys above 15k I can barely compete.

You need a lot of beef in the middle, I didn't start winning until my bigs started popping in training... and training of course will cost you games too cause it's easier to buy older players and just GS train all year.

I don't know exactly how good your trainees are but they look to be far behind for 22-23yos even for SFs (although I can't tell how far due to some of their DMI).

Your arena looks great, but I would start working on the lower tier seats. Your squad is not cut out for D.III, and if you lose alot in D.III, your bleacher attendance will take a harder hit than the more expensive seats. Your average team rating is 8.8, which would be the worst in my current D.III league, and thats not even taking into account that a players rating generally drops when being promoted to a better league. You'll need a team salary of at least $200,000 to be a competitive team, and much higher if you want to have a good shot of promoting to D.II.

Just relax. You'll be fine. Increase arena size when you can and make some solid purchases, but keep up with your training plan on manage your enthusiasm well. You'll probably be pushing for the 5-7 seed in most DIII leagues.

Other than arena size (I am working on that right now) What things do I need to work on for my move up to DIII. I am really excited, but I think I may get regulated next season... Which wouldn't be the worst thing... Thanks guys! See you out there!!! :-)

You definitely won't survive in D.III with only 7 players. You have some really good starters, but your gameshape will suffer soon or later and the teams with depth will really have a big advantage on you. At its current state, I could see your club going somewhere between 4-18 to 7-15, depending on the league. You need one more starter to have an across-the-board quality starting lineup, and then pick up 3-4 players for backup/role positions, somewhere in the $8-$16k salary range. But your team is getting old. Unless you want to cough up alot of coin for replacing them with younger guys, then relegating back down and making another run with younger guys might not be a terrible thing. Just my opinion.

Usually you want one all-star level starter on your team, then a supporting cast to fill the rest for a middle of the road d3 team (like look at my team for example...managed tactics trained Shah and Stratford and I got 5th). I kind of have to agree with spoon here cuz my league is all about 90k bigs and such sorts so when you want to make a jump to d2 I suggest getting high level bigs when the time and finances come.

I have a similar question, as I will most likely be going up to D.III again. How would my current team stack up against most D.III leagues?

I love your All American team Sons Of Ander. Well done, I tried that a few seasons ago and did not have the patience for it. How is your merchandise?? I read somewhere that if you have all USA team and are based in USA that your merch goes up...
