Combatants: Greensboro Generals (20-2, 1st Great 8) vs dang888 (20-2 1st Big 8)

How they got here?: Neither team encountered much resistance on the road to the multiverse. Greensboro avenged an earlier loss to Wellsville with a 130-100 shellacking of the Senators. After that the Breckenridge Tigers were made a three time loser with a 125-96 blowout as the Generals went Petula Clark from the perimeter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abOzcjxNJ30 with Greensboro's gunners finding the mark nineteen times out of thirty and for an aggregate 32-54 for the pair of playoff games. Alas it was not all https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQmBXEZEYtg for the Generals as recent addition Wong Chun May went down during the Wellsville contest but hopefully he will be available for game one and should well be for game 2.

dang888 cruised easily in both their contests, and banked a lot of enthusiasm in the process with a floggings of THE FIRM 102-36 and the Columbus Barons 105-78

Tale of the tape: I look at the rosters and think this should be an interesting contrast in styles. Yet when you look back on what dang888 likes then tend to go with outside based attacks, though they did punch it down low in their 84-74 victory over the Generals a few weeks back. But that was before Greensboro added their recent additions, in particular the addition of Gianluca Loccioni. And of course if you are talking the Generals you know your talking about 'the jaz man' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUBnLJdi1rU Aljaz Smrecnik, he of the league leading 39.4 scoring average. Last time these two teams met the Generals went with a blank motion lineup and Smrecnik went pretty well ignored as he put up his 2nd most paltry total of the year with only 17 points for the evening. Greensboro must get more out of him to promote

However Greensboro made all their improvements in the back court, 888 on the other hand has solidified their stock up front so I really am looking for this to turn into a proverbial battle of the immovable force versus the irresistible object or visa versa.
