If you have not been paying attention to the U21 USA team this season, I just wanted to fill the USA community in on what has been going on. After starting off the first round with a rough schedule and record, and entering the second round of Worlds at 0-3, things were not looking up. However, with the help of my amazing offsite staff and reliable managers who have been training players and managing their minutes, the USA has gone 4-0 in the second round. This grabbed us the 3rd seed in the semifinals and this morning, The USA beat the Philippines 107-89. Much like a sneaky beaver, the USA played a different tactic (Base Offense) than the norm, causing two missed GDP guesses from the Philippines and let it rain from downtown. Making 9-18 from Three, the Muricans put terror in the hearts of the opponents. Being led by Stewart Tripp's double double and the beast wing players, Wesley Starnes and Tory Reilly who combined to shoot 18-28 and 39 points, the USA proved too much for the 6th ranked team in the World and now look to play Italy in the Worlds Final.
Now this is a bit unorthodox, but I have decided to let you, the masses, pick the tactic we will use for the game. Vote in the poll and help decide the method by which we shall defeat the Italians! Sure, they could see this post and plan accordingly...but team USA is confident on a victory nonetheless.
