Okay guys, with the schedule being the way it is, I am going to use this opportunity to create a contest.
The reward: You get to pick one player from your team, and he is going to participate in NT game this season.
The contest is for the players 18-27 years old.

What you need to do in order to win is:
- give the player id and total skill points in top 6, and bottom 4 skills as well as his height. (minimum superstar potential)
- 3 weeks before season ends give updated amount of skills in the same way.

The manager of a player who gets the most pops in each age group gets to pick a player o participate in NT game.
If there are 2 players with the same amount of skills, I will choose one based on the amount of pops in secondaries and in skills that are slower to train.

Signup in this thread before February 5th.
Good luck!

Interesting.

Watts 21yo (33517182) (46/30) 6'9

Most pops is not fair perhaps. What if I just trained 1v1f all season. Would get the most pops, but not most beneficial to the player, my team, or possible future NT. Don't know how else you would measure. Skill @ best position (from buzzermanager)? I don't know.

Good initiative either way.

I was considering using different weights for skills, but would be hard to do with players of different height. I dont believe that managers would be willing to adjust their training just for NT game (training just 1 on 1 and ending up with a player build they didnt really want). This is just a way to reward those that are really committed to training and make sure that their players dont miss out. i would like to continue that in next seasons so in a longterm in fairly small community I dont see how committed trainer wont be rewarded (either by this program or just getting player into NT)

Great Idea! Very creative way to reward people that are training.

Awesome initiative damian13ster.
Just for some clarification, are we basing the total skill points as of right now or from the beginning of the season?

Aaron 22yo 6'1 (31706353) (63/28)
Colesby 20yo 6'4 (34359561) (43/36)

I'll try (despite not qualifying...I have nobody with superstar potential, lol).

Gordon Murphy http://www.buzzerbeater.com/player/34359381/overview.aspx 19 y/o 6'2 Per. Allstar

(41-12)

He has no shot, but I`ll be training him regardless.

I will go with Jarvis. This should be a huge year of pops for him or at least that is my hope.
