So does potential mean that a player trains faster. i.e. a 5 star potential trains fast then a 3 star. Or does it just mean he'll respond to training for longer. i.e. his training wont slow down when he reaches a certain age.

Potential acts as a soft cap for training by decreasing the effect each training session has, thus slowing training down, after the skill level indicated by potential is reached.

ahhh gotcha! So training is exactly the same until the players 'ceiling' is reached and then it slows. So unless you plan on keeping a player for the long haul e.g. more then a few season its best to draft on star grade rather then potential.

exactly.

Unless you want to speculate on the market. It is unsure so far, but it is possible players with high potential will sell for (much) more. At this moment however it's gambling...

what does it mean if a player potential is "all star" what is his peak? prolific? and this player ((4935878)) potential is "hall of famer" when will he reach his peak?

hang on. i thought all players 'born' before this years draft were all potential 'all-star'. how does that player exist

Ahhhh is that right? i thought all the players made BEFORE this draft had the same potential.
