So i finally have some spare time on my hands for this. Edition 2 of my power rankings, 1st of this season with 6 games played.
ready? no? let's go anyway.
1. lol lol
Deja vu much? Like last season, a relegated d3 team is dominating the league. His two 50k+ bigmen have dominated the paint in every game, Ludwiszewski being the bigger scorer, while Bradly Conklin dominates the glass with his rebounds. This combined with a couple decent guards, makes him the team to beat.
2. TEAM BOCANDE
What can i say, nothing new with them, they're a highly potent offensive team, no real main scorer. His SF, PG and SG all chip in while the bigmen dominate the rebounds. A balanced team, would be a larger threat if more active. The constant crunch timing throughout the season may cost him later thought. Despite the loss to Flex Zone, I still put him 2nd because of the pure potential his team possesses.
3. Green Peppers
I put Peppers in 3rd because they're winning their conference more than anything else. Very dependent on a few players, especially Castel. The GM seems smart though, not much to say about this team. Should go on to reach the finals. Weak in the paint, needs a quality bigman.
4. Trinidad and Tobago Iguanas
Yes, I'm putting myself in 4th. Even though Flex Zone has a better record than me. Why? Well I did beat them. Flex Zone got to learn from my game vs Bocande (you're welcome mike), so that also helped him. Playing the best 3 teams in the conference to open the season is always fun !! Anyway, I did sell my MVP from the last season, Diego, but we just acquired a very capable replacement. Not what I was looking for, actually didnt mean to buy the guy. But it happened, he's good anyway, we'll use him. Very balanced team.
5. Flex Zone Stars
Just like last season, Great 8 teams are dominating the rankings. Flex Zone stars has some quality in the backcourt, but in the paint this team is very weak. Great defensive team, weak on offense. Very dependent on certain players, inconsistent offensively. Did have a good draft, but >accidently sold his stud draftee, and bought a decent guy instead. Could be a threat with some smart tactics though, so watch out for Flex Zone.
this shall be continued in another post.
