Another year, another exciting March Madness! Who ya got?

I'm pulling for Kansas myself (Going to college there next fall), but will settle for any team to win not named Kentucky or Duke.

I got Kentucky because they almost won it all as an 8th seed and are a year wiser. Of course, they have plenty of talent as well. Along with that, I can see Gonzaga and Georgetown getting upset at some point. Both have a recent history of choking.

Upsets can happen to Kentucky too. I'm hoping Maryland can upset them in the 1/4 matchup. Maryland is a very streaky team and I think has a better chance against them than Kansas or Notre Dame to be honest. My bold moves are thus so far:

Maryland upsetting Kentucky in the Sweet Sixteen
Kansas winning the whole thing
Northern Iowa going to the Elite Eight
BYU and/or SF Austin going to the Sweet Sixteen
Villanova gets out in the round of 32

There's a bit of bias in that Kansas one EBW. I don't really think there's a chance that Kansas wins the whole thing. I've actually got Wichita State upsetting them. As for bold moves:

NC State going to the Sweet 16
Northern Iowa going to the Elite Eight
UNC going to the Elite Eight
SF Austin going to the Sweet 16

And then, not really bold, but Kentucky winning the national championship.

Biased, but a bold prediction none the less. I think in order for Kansas to win the whole thing, Kentucky needs to lose to Maryland, due to matchup purposes. Kansas is not a very big team up front but do have Seldon, Oubre, and Mason who I think are better than Kentucky's guards from a realistic point of view. Seldon and Oubre have the offensive ability to go off and then Brannon Greene is a wild card who is a very streaky 3 point shooter, which I see coming in handy if he is having a good game. Once again, biased but bold. ;)

I think you fail to realize the deeper context and background of that game. This was Kentucky's 11th game as a team (not to mention that 6 of those previous games were against other nations' National Teams and one was against Buffalo who is a March Madness team). This was Kansas' 4th game as a team and they did not have as much preparation as their only 3 games before that Kentucky game were against Washburn, Emporia State, and UC Santa Barbara. Not even sure I can consider those exhibition/real preparation games. Sure it was still a beat down and Kansas deserved to lose by that margin, but It's silly to value that game too much aside from that Kentucky was the much more prepared and better team 4 months ago. I promise you if they meet again it will not be a 30 point blow out. Once again, Kansas is my team that I cheer for and stand behind, but take that game that you *gently laid down* with a grain of salt.

I think you fail to realize that was meant as a joke. Anyone can pull up any game from any team this year(including Kentucky) and try to discredit their capabilities. I meant no ill will by it, thought it was evidenced by the "gently lays" bit, but I should know by now sometimes an individual will take all to heart. Take that comment, regarding a game I have clearly no clue about, that you perfectly broke down for me with a grain of salt.

Then UB goes and beats Albany in the finals.
