Inter conference play has ended. blah blah. Time for a new edition of my POWER RANKINGS !

1. Flex Zone Stars - Previous Ranking #5 /// +4

The league table doesn't lie. His team have been terrifying in the backcourt, especially the all star game MVP, his SF Andreani (whom i almost bought myself hehe, too bad I didnt have the cash at the time). Got a decent bigman to defend in the paint, but still not the best team in the paint, but his backcourt is strong, with Billy, an all round good SG, Ray Ornelas, who is like rondo, and andreani, the SF apparently no one can defend. 2nd least points allowed, but I'd say overall he does have the best DEFENSE in the league.

2. lol lol - Previous Ranking #1 /// -1

this guy's bigmen are RIDICULOUS. No one can beat them. They've dominated EVERY team in the paint. His SG contributes as well, and his SF is a hard worker. The PG gets lost between all these stars. But a surprise loss to Flex Zone, whom has also made up ground in point difference and passed them leaves him in 2nd place in the strong Great 8 conference. The 2nd most POTENT offense in the league, averaging 112.3 PPG which is quite extraordinary

3. Trinidad and Tobago Iguanas - Previous Ranking #4 /// +1

Statistically, the best defensive team in the league. Been struggling a little, despite pulling out the wins, since Roata and Simpson, the two bigmen have been playing out of position to train their secondary skills. Never mind that though, Zalan has been an EXCELLENT addition, carrying us to victories during this time period. Averaging 32 ppg in 9 games. He's 1 game away from the leaderboards. Zalan, a complete SF, who has been utilized at basically EVERY position so far, may possibly be the best SF in the league. Unguardable, just like Andreani, and they will face off on saturday.
since Zalan actually doesnt play at SF though, Chen Sui Hung does, the guy who drops dimes 24/7 for his teammates, i'd say that is our weakest position. Chen is like a Rondo, except he does have the odd high scoring game. Surpasses Green Peppers, evident with an 88-82 win on tuesday, despite struggling right now.

4. Green Peppers - Previous ranking #3 /// -1

I doubt anyone will unseat Green Peppers from the #1 seed in big 8 this season. Full of scorers, Castel and Brito especially. Acquired a few players, I haven't seen much of them. I still think right now they're probably easily below the top 3, but easily above the rest of the league as well. Somewhere in between, needs some improvements to challenge the Great 8 monsters.

5. WASHINGTON GENERALS !!! - Previous ranking #7 /// +2

the most improved team imo. Randolf Fleck seems unguardable right now. Up there among the best buys so far in the season. I think he could topple Green Pepper's reign and make the finals this season if his team keeps it up. No real standouts except Fleck. His team is balanced, and has the highest number of assists in the league (thanks buzzer manager for that stat). I still think his paint game could use a little work, especially if he wants to challenge teams like lol lol, or Iguanas come the playoffs.

well done generals, that's 1-5

6. TEAM BOCANDE - Previous ranking #2 /// -4

Most disappointing team after their start. It was the crunch time, as I anticipated. Playing so hard at the start killed off his team a little. The best offense in the league, with an unbelievable 120 ppg per game. How do you average that? Amazing. His shooters are deadly, boasting the 3 point contest winner, Alan Karpel in their ranks, and some monstrously good rebounding bigmen. I think with his roster power, he should do better. Probably the best starting 5 in the entire league. Something's wrong with this team, and it needs to be fixed

7. Mercy Buckets - Previous Ranking #9 /// +2

best of the new teams in our league. Smart play, excellent buys, have propelled this team to a surprising 3rd place in big 8. Really needs work though, his team are doing much better than their actual skillset, so look out for them when they get even better players.

8. Team Turn Up - Previous ranking #6 /// -2

Another disappointing team. I thought they might kick on to dethrone Green Peppers but they've fallen to 4th Not much to say. Hongtai is an amazing player but getting old. Keep hold of him as long as possible, could be integral to a playoff run in the next season or 2 while he's still on top his game.

9. Anarchy Fox - Previous ranking #10 /// +1

Some interesting buys that give him the chance to build for a promotion push in 2 or 3 seasons. At this point, I think they could make the playoffs by next season. Looking good, should easily avoid the bottom 3. But cant quite touch the top 4 yet.

10. WC Strike Club - Previous ranking #8 /// -2

Potent, dangerous offense, but CAN NOT DEFEND. Needs some defenders. And perhaps a solid man in the paint to dominate the post. not much else to say, his duo of scorers are probably the best 2 in the league. Splash splash? but the rest of the team needs to support them. I think a quality bigman, or another big backcourt scorer would help, or both would make him a contender.

that's 6-10 folks

Here comes the time when i struggle to make comments on the remaining teams.

11. New World Disorder. - Previous Ranking #12 /// +1

I have to believe this guy brings in a ton of cash with his arena size and the buzzer manager stats i've seen. Could probably kill off the league if he sells his roster and goes on a spending spree. Ivan, the league's best scorer, Renard, my favorite guy in this team, despite his Derrick Rose-like tendencies. OBSESSED with hall of famer potentials, why? I dont know. This guy confuses me a lot. Could probably win this league in a couple seasons if he tried really hard. One of the best scoring teams, but again, can't defend. Been very unlucky this season though.

12. CLAIREMONT CONDORS - Previous Rankings #15 /// +3

Some very good buys, very good. I can see them pulling off a great escape with the current run of form his team is in. Well done, keep it up. Do you have a trainee yet? you Should train someone.

13. UNi Gang - Previous Rankings #13 /// ------

unchanged. Nothing new at all. his only bright spot if that U-21 PF maybe he can save him in the relegation playoff series.
If he gets Condors, I believe he's out, would probably lose to NWD ot WCS too. I hope he will win and stay in the league. Obviously knows how to train.

14. NF Hoopsters - Previous Rankings #12 /// -2

the coach of this team died, nothing to look forward to. they may finish dead last as far as i see.

15. Machete Kills - Previous rankings #14 /// -1

Needs someone to help him in the relegation battle. and fast or it's looking dim for his team.

16. Dead Picklies (Volenteers - the previous team that was taken over) - Previous rankings #16 - No Change

bought a decent player
at this point, should just tank to d5, win there and be ready for d4 when he promotes.

Wow cool you are awesome for making this, quite entertaining. I'm happy with where I am seeded, I think you got it all pretty much right!

I've spent $120k in the transfer market, and my salaries are 53k/wk, just keeping it simple and resting guys. Thanks for the compliments though!

Thought #1 I am so happy I was placed in a league with you. I hope I stay just so I can read these things!

Thought #2 I probably waited a bit too long to buy my free agents, but I think I can steal a game from one of the teams above me and get into the relegation matches which should be a pretty easy task.

Thought #3 I've got a few guys I'm training, but my guy with the most potential is the guy who went down for 5 weeks...so he really is Derrick Rose.

Moved into sole possession of 1st in the Big 8. Hopefully we can hang onto that the rest of the season!

tbh, I think you could even grab 5th place and avoid the relegation series Dan.
your team looks good right now, you just have to beat Hoopsters (I'm sure you can, easily) and WC Strike Club (which will be the tough one i think).

and maybe pull off an upset vs one of the top 4 guys... but you could get 5th place.

well, good job generals, No looking back now, if you win out 1st seed is yours.

No way I'm beating a top 4 team, but I think I can win 2 more games against the 2 teams directly above me. My last game is against the Hoopsters so that will be a big one.

I think the big move was when I got Daniil Bosyakov, that guy was a steal.

New leader in the Big 8! Seems the Green Pepper vs. Washington General games were bigger than I first thought! Should be a great playoff series! Once again thanks BarcaSwag!
