I will play conference final in saturday and would appriciate if someone could give me advice about tactis.

I was 2nd in coference and will play against 1st team who beat me 2 times this season.
Since these matches I bought 180k salary center.
My players have higher salaries, better ratings and I also have higher enthusiasm but he has home advantage.

I am pretty shure that he will be playing LI or Low post. There is also slight chance that he will be using JR but his inside tactis are much stronger. In defence he is using man to man and rarely predicts opponents tactics.

My dilema is should I play 2-3 zone or man to man.My PF and C ID is 15 and SF ID is 11,OD is 13 and R is 6.My PG and SG OD is 16.I was thinking about replacing that SF in starting lineup with my bench PF who has 15 ID and 14 R for 2-3 zone. But Im not shure if 2-3 zone will be good enough and should i maybe use man to man.He only lost 3 games this season and in all three games opponents were playing man to man defence. Also many teams played 2-3 zone and predicted his attacking tactics successfully but failed to win.

For example this 1st round playoff match http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/81934780/boxscore.aspx

Well I would guess inside for sure if you are confident that his inside game is much better than his outside. 2-3 I wouldnt suggest as much as if he does switch tactics, 2-3 will not work well at all and just in general, unless you have really good shotblockers, 2-3 is meh. I would play your best offensive tactic, guess inside and play M2M personally.

It may sound crazy but play base offense and 2-3 zone or m2m.. I think since he uses I/lp his od is very high so is his inside defense.

Base offense is stronger than any other tactic if you have a balanced team. But good luck and try what you think will work

How good are your PG and SG in ID/SB?

Just because he uses LI a lot, does not mean he mostly scores from the PF or C position.
If your guards cannot prevent his guards or SF from driving and finishing at the rim, you should not play M2M. Rather play some sort of zone (3-2maybe) that makes your stronger ID players protect the basket.

PG:ID 7 SB 1
SG:ID 6 SB 2

You are right,I took a look in some of his matches where he played LI, and his PG and SG took even more shots then C and PF in some matches.
Do you think that those skils and 16 OD would be enough to stop his guards if I play man to man?
For 3-2 zone,my centers have 17 and 18 rebounding but ID only 15 so it might be vulnerable tactics because he has realy good C.
On the other hand if i play 2-3 zone PG and SG have 16 OD and I can have SF,PF and C with 15 ID but they all have low SB and many people say that 2-3 is not giving the right results.

I've used 2-3 to stop inside tactics (LI, LP, IO) when outside players take a lot of shots and it has been pretty effective eventhough my inside players have rather low SB. I think it's the best way to go. Otherwise, with MoM you will just get destroyed again and again by his outside players.

I agree that 2-3 looks the most promising right now.
However, keep in mind that your backup PF at the SF position will always play a signifant role on offense. How good is he compared to your usual Starting Five SF?

Think about what kind of offense tactic would suit him best. After all he would play much more than usual and your SF less than usual.
Also how import is your SF to your team on offense?

I am thinking about playing base offence because my PG,SG and C are my best attacking options(PG and SG have 19 JS and C 19 IS)and opponent defence is pretty balanced.

But if I put my backup PF instead of SF to play 2-3 zone I might play LI in offence because that PF has realy bad outside skills and only have IS 15 and JS 8.

On the other hand I might still use my SF to play base offence and let 2-3 zone suffer a bit.
But the problem is, teams who played 2-3 against him were end up loosing because his PG and SG would score most of the points. How are your expiriences about defending LI with 3-2 to stop his guards?
